IT'S MY LIFE!
CHARACTER HISTORY:[/blockquote]Rose was born in October during a bad storm. Her mother had to give birth at home because there was no way they would make it to the hospital in time.. Soon after birth her parents went back to work and she was stuck in her house with her nanny.
When she turned six her life changed. Her beautiful baby sister, Sarah, was born. It was one of the best days of her life. Again, her parents went back to work. Rose cared for her sister like she was the most precious thing in the world.
When Sarah was about years old, Rose taught her how to tie her shoes. When she was seven, Rose taught her how to ride a bike. They became best friends since they didn't have much time to spend with their parents.
Rose made it through elementary school with no problems... And no friends. She was a loner and spent most of her time talking to herself. After seeing a therapist, she was forced to make friends. She met one girl and ended up going through middle school with her as a close friend.
Her friend was the one who convinced her to join chorus for the first time. This was when Rose discovered her love of music. She'd gotten a solo every year and performed her little heart out. In high school, chorus helped her find love.
Anthony George. He was sweet and charming... And was looking for sex. Rose spent two years with him before realizing the real reason behind their relationship. She just gave him what he wanted. Once she realized it, she left him and spent a week crying in her bedroom. She was ashamed of herself for letting herself fall for him. After that, she joined drama in hopes of letting herself forget him.
Drama opened up a new world for Rose. She fell in love with the theatre and the stage. Bright lights and microphones. Dancing. Singing. It was her second home.
Her first play was Mamma Mia, where she played one of the background singers. The music made her feel whole. Like Anthony had. Rose had fallen in love with music.
Later on, she got better roles in plays. The oldest daughter in the Sound of Music. The youngest daughter in Fiddler on the Roof. Babe in Pajama Game. And finally, her favorite, Mimi in Rent.
Music was her life. She learned to play piano, guitar, violin, cello, bass, the drums, and even ukelele. She majored in Musical Theatre in college, and minored in Music Education, which lead her to Let it Shine.
