SHOW ME YOUR TALENTS
STRENGTHS:
Eli is a loyal friend once he gets to know someone and will look out for them no matter what, if he does something for someone he won’t expect anything in return. He is also a very good listener and would rather listen to someone else than talk about himself. Although his mind isn’t always engaged his body is, and he keeps in good shape by doing lots of sports; hence why he tends to excel in sports events or anything involving endurance or stamina.
WEAKNESSES:
Eli has a low attention span when it comes to academic activities; he finds it difficult to concentrate on subjects and gets easily frustrated when he can’t learn something straight away, so tends to give up at the first hurdle. If something doesn’t interest Eli it also means he won’t make the effort to become engaged in the activity, this with his low attention span is the main reason why he doesn’t excel academically. His attitude also means he will only do the bare minimum at times and thus he has never gotten anywhere in his job even though he’s been working there for a year. The move to a foreign country and moving away from his friends has also made Eli shy and socially awkward so he hasn’t been able to make many friends, another reason why he has never gotten a raise at work, since his customer service skills are poor he tends to just stock the shelves.
WHAT SCHOOL DO YOU GO TO:
Let It Shine Boys Academy
GRADE LEVEL:

EXTRACURRICULAR CLUBS:

IT'S MY LIFE!
CHARACTER HISTORY:[/blockquote]Eli is English; born and bred in Hertfordshire. He went to a mixed public school and was a raucous student, constantly causing trouble shouting out in class and being a general class clown, he was a fairly popular boy at the school and although he never dated anyone had a number or female friends as well as male friends. His mischievous behaviour along with his gradually lowering grades caused concern for the boy’s mother. His behaviour at school was what made Eli’s mother to send him off to school in a foreign country, hoping he would buck up, and learn to respect others and put more into his work. His mother also said if he worked hard and learnt some responsibility he’d be able to return to the UK after his graduation.
It was his father who chose Let it Shine academy as the school of choice, as he had also attended the school as a boy and graduated with very good grades; which helped him to land a very successful job in London where he met Eli’s mother, the two later set up home in the Hertfordshire area.
The news was not well received by Eli, but after hearing his mother’s promise of allowing him to return to the UK after graduation he had no choice but to change his ways. He was able to get a job at the local supermarket to show he was responsible, the initial language barrier meant he only stocked the shelves, and although his Japanese has improved since then, his social skills almost completely vanished with the move as it knocked all the mischievous confidence out of him, and thus, a whole year later, he still just stocks the shelves.
Because the move knocked Eli’s confidence it also means he hasn’t made many friends and has become socially awkward, rather than making the effort to make new friends he prefers writing home to his old ones.
Because Eli needs to prove his changed ways to his mother it also means knuckling down and studying, something which Eli finds incredibly difficult, and often the boy is mentally fighting away his old self (the inner self who will simply tells him to give up and throw things at the teacher), often Eli has his own mental battles and may sometimes shout out things at random when he feels frustrated, or he will just think out loud, another reason why he finds it difficult to make friends and is seen as a bit weird.
